Vintage Buffet in China Blue and Creme

I painted this vintage buffet as a custom order piece in Benjamin Moore's, China Blue. I think it will compliment her black table and chairs beautifully.  I'm ready for her to have a look!!

The creme detail really highlights the charm of this piece of furniture.

Black and creme porcelain knobs replaced the old rinky-dink ones that were there originally.

Well, I love this even more than I expected! Hope you all have a happy summer weekend!

Vintage Glossy Dresser in Black and White

I needed a break from my norm, and recently saw this photo from one of my favorite blogs, http://47parkav.blogspot.com/
This home is the coolest place! Every room is the perfect mix of old and new, vintage and modern and black and white.

This served as my color inspiration for this piece...black,  white and bronze accented with turquoise.  Love it!!

This dresser is available here on my Etsy shop, The Turquoise Iris.

Headboard Whimsy

I painted a little whimsical headboard for my 3 year old niece. I had to give it as much spunk as she has in her personality!
Both are one of a kind!

I would have loved this as a little girl.  Hopefully she will adore her new "big girl" bed, too!

Happy Monday, Friends!

Triple Vintage Dresser in Teal & Robin's Egg Blue

I painted this piece as a custom order for Brandi in Victoria, TX.  I always love this color combination and this hardware...well, it speaks for itself.  Have a look!

Have a wonderful weekend!

Vintage Dresser in Cobalt Chevron

Inspired by our family marlin, I painted this piece in Benjamin Moore's "Ole Blue Eyes".
I love the way the original bronze hardware perfectly compliments this shade of blue. And, the chevron...well, it's just cool!

This is paper applied to the drawers.  It's actually navy and white, but the blue pulls a brighter color when paired together. My 8 year old actually advised me on which drawers to cover and which to paint:)  I love his input!

Hope you all enjoy the Dad's in your lives today!
Have fun!!

Art Deco Buffet in Mint and Turquoise

When I purchased this piece, there were red hibiscus flowers painted on the front doors.  Now, I love that beautiful tropical plant...just not on furniture.  I brought out several shades of blue and green for this one...( dreaming of the ocean )
Take a look at my newest painted piece!

Hello gorgeous knobs...so glad to meet again!

I have listed this piece for sale on my Etsy shop, The Turquoise Iris. Click HERE to see more details.  Thank you!!

Multi Colored Accent Table

I painted this little accent table for Miss Marley's nursery. I think it will look amazing with the fabric Suzanne has chosen for the room!
Isn't it cute?

Peacock Buffet in Three Shades of Fab

I'm sure I will get bored with this combination, but when? I love it!!
I painted this piece last week and sold it locally, which means no shipping.
Woo hoo!!

Here is a peek at this before I made it pretty;)

Hope you all have a sunny and warm weekend!

Apple Green Antique Waterfall Vanity with Peacock Feathers

Isn't this the coolest piece? I've never painted a waterfall piece before. I tried to add just the right amount of color and whimsy without making it too funky. The vanity is solid wood and in excellent vintage quality. I added the peacock feather paper to the drawer fronts and a little bit of hand painted details here and there. I absolutely love how this turned out.

This piece is for sale on my Etsy shop, The Turquoise Iris.
